TCS ‘Spooktacular” Event
Taos Charter school had a very fun “Spooktacular” Halloween fundraiser and fun community event last Friday evening, October 27.
Thanks to the creativity and inspiration of Amber Thomas, and with the support of The Friends of Taos Charter School, the Student Council, and lots of helpful parents, we had jumping spiders, web toss, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, Halloween candy prizes, temporary tattoos, beautiful henna tattoos done by Mia Stallard of Taos Henna (505-573-7052). Dad Tige Bailey cooked up delicious all-beef hot dogs, the Storyteller Movie theater donated popcorn for everyone who then watched the movie all our classes voted on, “Nightmare Before Christmas”. About 150 kids and parents turned out for this fun time!
