Rosalinda Molina-King

Rosalinda was born and raised in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. She studied at the University of Chihuahua, earning a Bachelor degree in Physical Education and Dance, as well as a Master’s Degree in Sport Science. She worked as a professor in the Department of Education at the University of Chihuahua and then taught dance at the Instituto Tecnologico de Chihuahua. She was also a PE teacher for ten years for several schools in Chihuahua City.

Rosalinda was recruited by Pecos Municipal School District, New Mexico to start their bilingual program. She taught Spanish, P.E, and Dance in Pecos for seven years, during which time she created the Pecos Independent Dance Group which focused on folklorico and modern dance.  She performed with her group throughout New Mexico. She married and moved to Taos in 2009, where she now lives with her husband and her beautiful daughter who attends Taos Charter School.

Mrs. Molina enjoys reading, exercising, dancing, nutrition, music, arts and crafts, movies, musicals, volleyball, and enjoying nature. Her favorite types of music are classical, traditional, and pop.
