Family Science Night at Taos Charter School, Friday, February 24th; 5:00-7:30

Free, Extraordinary Science Fun AND A FILM for all TCS K-8 students, families, and Taos community members!

Don’t miss the Family Science Night sponsored by the TCS Student Council.  Next Friday, February 24th, from 5:00-7:30 pm in the TCS cafeteria, all TCS K-8 students, families, and Taos community members are invited to explore a variety of hands-on science exhibits presented by Explora.

During Science Night, Ms. Katie and the TCS Student Council will be showing the award-winning documentary We Know Not What We Do. We Know Not What We Do examines the most important challenge of our time: human’s relationship to the environment. The film, a tale of redemption, tells the story of this very misunderstood relationship and how it has caused destruction in both the biosphere and the biodiversity of planet Earth. This paramount film will be shown in the 6th grade classroom at 5:00pm and again at 6:15pm.

During this free event, the TCS Student Council will sell concessions to fund K-8 TCS student activities. Come hungry, ready for some fun! For additional information, please call the TCS Front Office at 751-7222.
