Kinder News #21

Hello Families,

Friday Folders go home tomorrow; here are the things to look for:

I’m not sending home specific homework. I did send home the 4th Mathematics at Home book. It’s full of fun math activities that can be completed at home.

In math this week we have concentrated on getting ready for our 100th day celebration. The kids are very excited!

Next Friday we will have a Valentine’s Day celebration from 2-2:40. Your child may bring in cards. Please let me know if there is a snack item you would like to contribute to the class.

I’m sure that you have heard from the office that our school is hosting a basketball tournament from February 22-28. This is an incredibly important fundraising event for our school. If you are able, please consider donating concession items. Also, February 22 is Kindergarten and 1st Grade day. If it works for your schedule please think about donating your time. I’ll be working admissions from 3:30-5:30. Our class will receive $200 towards our end of the year field trip if we have enough parent participation. If that day does not work for you, there are plenty of other times to volunteer as well. Below are the links for donations and volunteer hours.

Thank you for all you do to support your child and our school!
