Kinder News #15

We’ve had a great time learning about farm life in kindergarten. Ask your child about making butter in class.

Friday Folders go home tomorrow; here are the things to look for:

We’ve learned the letter name and sound for the vowel i. Students were also introduced to the letter g this week. Your child is able to read many consonant-vowel-consonant words with the vowels a and i in the middle (sat, sit). Try spelling and reading a few at home together.

I’ve sent home two math activities. One is a fun game that you can play at home and the other is an activity that has to do with measurement.

Skating Club forms are included in folders.

The grading period for the second nine weeks ends on the 18th. However, report cards will be sent home after break.

We will celebrate the holidays on the 18th as well. I have some fun activities planned for the morning. Our class party will be from 11-11:40. The student council has donated snacks to our class for this.

Yearbooks are for sale. You can purchase them through the office.

Have a great weekend!
