Week of May 11, 2015

Week of May 11 – May 15, 2015

The last full week of school. This week will fly by fast, yet we have so much we are trying to accomplish before it’s all over! Students are not expected to have homework this week, but they are still taking the remaining multiplication quizzes. We will be seeing several class plays this week besides our own part in the Talent Show on Wednesday. 3rd grade may wear a “rap” style or presidential costume to school on that day to coordinate with our “44 Presidents” song.

Please help your child to remember to return any school library books they may have at home.

Next week: If you plan on driving your child to and from the Field Day activities next Tuesday, they must have the orange permission slip (sent home last week) signed and returned. Remember to pack a lunch for Monday as we will not have food service available. Pizza will be provided for Field Day. Also, buses will not be available next week as the Municipal School will already be finished.

Homework for this week:

Monday – Thursday:

Practice the lyrics to “44 Presidents” for Wednesday’s Talent Show.

Practice 8 and 9 multiplication facts.
