Week of January 9, 2012

Welcome back from our nice long Winter Break.  I am happy to be back in the classroom in the New Year.

Our focus for the next few months will be on writing an essay, learning more about the 13 Colonies, followed by the Explorers, and completing a unit on geometry.

Next Thursday, January 19th, we will take a trip to the Millicent Rogers Museum in El Prado to see Victor Goler's exhibit and to participate in a hands-on art activity.  We will be at the museum from 10:00 until about noon.  If you would like to chaperone this trip, please contact me.  You are welcome to ride the bus with us or meet us at the museum.
