Parent Letter 11/4/11

Hello Parents,

Next week we will be reading A Trip to the Fire Station and George and Martha Back in Town in our Storytown books. In this lesson we will be reviewing the 3 long vowels: /a/ spelled ai and ay, /o/ spelled oa, ow, also /i/ spelled ie and igh. We will continue with intonation and expression while reading. We will be taking our Unit 4 test in math on Monday. You will receive a parent letter that talks all about Unit 5.

I wanted to thank all of the parents who participated with our Halloween party on Monday. All the children looked great and seemed to have a great time.

I hope everyone has a great weekend,

Ms. Flores

*Just a reminder: There will not be class next Friday, November 11.
