Taos Charter School

Linda Federico-DeGeest is one of two Enrichment Teachers at Taos Charter School, and has been a teacher at TCS off and on since it started.  Linda received her B.S. in Elementary Education/Special Education endorsement from New Mexico State University in 1986. She has extensive experience in teaching children with all levels of academic ability.  She has taught in Texas and New Mexico. Linda also has "real world" business experience, maintaining a therapeutic massage business since completing training and licensure in 1995, as well as several other ventures.

Linda is an ardent advocate of being healthy, and is a distributor of Usana Health Sciences products.   She enjoys all things outdoors - helping her husband design and build their own passive solar house, gardening, camping/hiking/traveling.  Linda believes that each person has much to contribute to family, school, work, and society, and that part of Life's journey involves finding out how to do that in a personal way. She feels strongly that students, and people, who cultivate responsibility, integrity, purpose, and high personal standards help the whole world be a better place.
